I absolutely love jewelry. I think about it every day! Sparkly colored stones and diamonds have always fascinated me. As a child, I remember the rainbow colors dancing on the walls from a prism perfume bottle my mother had on her dresser. I would hold it in front of the window and try to catch the sun "just right" to make the best rainbow patterns.
When I was 9 years old, my mother and I took a ride to the jeweler to purchase earrings for my newly pierced ears. I remember looking at all the colored stone earrings and holding my breath while watching the jeweler closely examining each piece. That day is still fresh in my mind. It started me on my lifelong journey with jewelry!I trained to be a jeweler at the North Bennet Street School in Boston's North End and am a certified gemologist through GIA. I attended Bryant University in Smithfield, RI and currently, I reside in the northeast "Quiet Corner" of Connecticut with my husband and two cats.
